Bipods Instruction Manual
Please browse the instruction manuals before using the bipod.
Precise Grade Bipod will fit onto a wide variety of firearms that have American style Quick Detachable(QD) Sling Stud, or a Picatinny rail on the firearm of the rifle’s stock.
Aircraft Grade Aluminum and Steel Construction make these bipods Extremely Durable yet very Light Weight.
CAUTION:BE SURE THAT YOUR FIREARM IS UNLOADED AND POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION. PRACTICE SAFE FIREARMS HANDLING PROCEDURES AT ALL TIMES.
CAUTION:WHEN OPERATING ANY TYPE OF FIREARM ALWAYS USE PROPER EYE AND EAR PROTECTION.BE SURE TO USE YOUR FIREARM IN AN AREA THAT IS PERMISSIBLE UNDER LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LAWS.
INSTALLING THE BIPOD:
The Precise Grade Bipods are designed to mount directly to American style Quick Detachable(QD)Sling Studs. The forearm of firearm stock should also have a minimum diameter of at least 1 1/2” for the Bipod to be mounted securely to the firearm stock.
To secure the bipod to a QD Sling Stud, you will need to unscrew counter-clockwise the Mount Tension Screw located between the bipod legs. When you unscrew the Mount Tension Screw , the two attached Claw Arms can be
pushed further through the rectangular brass opening in the Base . Spread each of the Claw Arms over the Sling Stud, so that the pin from each of the Claw Arms goes into the Sling Stud opening. Help hold the Claw Arms to the
Sling Stud with one hand; while you begin tightening the Mount Tension Screw clockwise with your other hand. As you tighten the Mount Tension Screw , the Claw Arms will draw tighter around the Sling Stud and begin pulling the bipod Base closer to the forearm of your firearm. You want to make sure the bipod Base is centered down the centerline of your forearm stock, before you do the final tightening of the Mount Tension Screw . If you want a more secure mounting of the bipod to your firearm, you can use the supplied Allen wrench to tighten the Mount Tension Screw tighter against your forearm stock.
INSTALLING THE BIPOD:
WEAVER STYLE RAIL MOUNT ADAPTER [C] The Weaver Style Rail Mount Adapter is designed to fit onto weaver style & Picatinny rails. To install, loosen the Allen bolt and Rail Clamp from the adapter. Place the adapter onto your firearms Weaver/Picatinny rail. Tighten the Allen bolt until the Weaver Style Rail Mount Adapter is secured to the firearms. The Bipod will then mount onto the adapter using the Sling Stud protruding from the Weaver Style Rail Mount Adapter.
EXTENDING THE BIPODS LEGS:
CAUTION: DO NOT sweep the muzzle of the firearm with your hand/arm, when you manipulate or adjust the bipod.
The bipod legs have several Notches machined onto both of the lower legs. The bipod Leg Latch can lock onto any of these Notches on the lower legs. You can extend and lock the bipod legs to any of the Notches you desire. To extend the bipods legs, grasp the Rubber Feet and depress the Leg Latch to extend the legs until you have the bipod leg at the length you like. Release the Leg Latch and move the bipod leg so that a Notch catches and locks into the Leg Latch . This will lock the bipod leg in place.
To collapse the legs shorter, depress the Leg Latch and move the lower bipod leg to a shorter Notch . Release the Leg Latch and move the bipod leg so that a Notch catches and locks into the Leg Latch . This will lock the bipod leg in place. Be fully collapsing the bipod legs to the closed position the legs can be rapidly deployed under spring tension by simply depressing the Leg Latch .
To keep the Precise Grade Bipods working in optimal condition and to protect the finish of the bipod, it is recommended that you wipe the bipod down with a rag that has oil designed to lubricate and protect metal finishes. A Silicon gun cloth will also work fine on the bipod surface/finish. A small dab of grease can also be applied where the bipod legs are bolted to the Base .
